Board Meeting Minutes
July 14, 2009
Meeting began at 7:10pm at Loma Vista Elementary by BG Sick, President
The June Board meeting minutes
were approved and documented by Angela McKeown, Secretary.
Treasurer Report by Beth Romig, VP Administration. Bank Account #1: Tri Counties
Bank Account June 2009 ending balance = $19,206.15. Bank Account #2: June 2009 ending balance = $5,000. The soccer equipment
budget has been reduced by $2,000. The original May budget was set at $4,000 and has now been reduced to $2,000. Distributions
of Butte United Registration Fees ($180) consist of the following items:
$51.05 = Fields, storage, maintenance, setup, lining, supplies, &
garbage

= Referees & assigning
$17.38 = Soccer equipment
$15.95 = Registration
$15.65 = Promotional
& Fundraisers

Registrar Report by Cindy Sick: Issued “Players Cards” to all coaches in attendance
that are competing in USA Club Soccer. The Barracuda Team now has their player cards ready for competition. Financial assistance
scholarships are now due and the BUSC have received over $2300 scholarships.
BUSC Magnets by Angela
McKeown, Secretary. The BUSC Board voted on magnet “C” and a motion was passed unanimously on ordering 500 magnets
and these would be sold at $5.00 each.
BG Sick, President. On Monday, 7/29/09 @ Wildwood Park there is going to be a “Community
Event” that will be from 3pm – 9pm that is FREE to the public. The event will include a food (BBQ/pizza), band,
bounce house, and games/crafts. This event is organized by the C.A.R.D.
Official Game Soccer Balls: BG announced that each team will be issued
3 new soccer balls that represent our Club and colors.
Soccer Fields: On Wednesday July 29, 2009 @ Pleasant Valley High School, the BUSC will be putting
together a maintenance field day to upgrade the existing soccer field [more details will be announced on this event]. BG has
been also working with Chico High School and Chico Cal on their field usage in regards to not having per game fee.
BG reported that the mobile
storage unit will be eliminated and the soccer equipment will be stored at Wildwood facilities. Additional storage keys and
facility light keys will be issued to authorize staffing. BG announced that the facility lights will be monitored much more
closely this year.
BG Sick called the meeting to end at 8:47pm.
